Fried Cornmeal Balls Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 lrg grated onion
- 1 tsp garlic flakes
- 1/4 tsp dry red pepper
- 4 tsp bacon drippings
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten oil
Directions
- Mix all ingredients except Large eggs. Add in Large eggs and sufficient water to make a fairly stiff dough. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and 'fry in very warm oil till golden.
