Ingredients

  • 2 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 lrg grated onion
  • 1 tsp garlic flakes
  • 1/4 tsp dry red pepper
  • 4 tsp bacon drippings
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten oil

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except Large eggs. Add in Large eggs and sufficient water to make a fairly stiff dough. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and 'fry in very warm oil till golden.
