Fresh Apple Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1 1/4 c. Packed brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Allspice
- 1/4 tsp Cloves
- 1/2 c. Apple juice
- 1 c. Grated unpeeled raw apple
- 3/4 c. Minced walnuts
- 1 c. Raisins
Directions
- In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in the Large eggs till smooth. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Add in to the creamed mix along with the apple juice. Stir in the apples, nuts and raisins.
- Never overmix the ingredients when combining. Butter a large cookie sheet.
- Using 2 tsp.; put walnut sized pcs of dough, 1-1/2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Bake 375 for 10 to 12 min or possibly till lightly brown.
- Makes2 dozen.
