There's something about Fall that brings out the Inner chef in me. All the smells, colors, and cool weather inspire me to cook my little heart out.This is my chilli recipe that I've perfected, Perfect to make on a chilly fall night!

Directions

  1. Season ground beef with salt, cumin, onion powder, Brown.
  2. Add browned ground beef to crock pot. Return saute pan to stove, add all veggies and saute for 4 -5 min. Then Add to crock pot.
  3. Drain beans and rinse, add to crock pot.
  4. Add chilpolte peppers and a little bit of sauce from can to crock pot.
  5. Add crushed tomatoes, chilli powder, cumin, and a few pinches of sugar, cover, and let cook on low (8-9 hours, or high 3-4 hours)
  6. Grate fresh sharp cheddar cheese on top.
  7. *I served the chilli with my jalapeno cheddar corn muffins!*
