Egg Nog Cake Magnifique Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pkt yellow cake mix, (one which calls for 2 Large eggs & 1 1/3 c. water)
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. egg nog
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp rum extract
- 1 x Recipe Egg Nog Filling, see recipe
- 1 x Recipe Whipped Cream Frosting, see recipe Red & Green glazed or possibly maraschino cherries, or possibly nutmeg Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Directions
- In large mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Beat for four min.
- Pour batter into 2 waxed-paper lined, greased and floured 9" round cake pans.
- Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 min or possibly till a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cold for five min and then turn out onto cooling racks.
- When completely cold, spread cooled Egg Nog Filling between layers.
- Frost with Whipped Cream Frosting and garnish nutmeg or possibly "flowers" of red and green cherries.
- Chill till serving time.
