For some reason, this chili gets rave reviews and it's so simple!

Ingredients

  • 2lbs ground beef
  • 2 onions chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 1 package of Dulcetta Peppers chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 2 green bell peppers chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 2 cans of kidney beans
  • 2 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes
  • 2 packages chili seasoning
  • 1 jar Heintz Chili Sauce
  • 1 12 oz bottle/can of beer
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • Diced Jalepenos to taste

Directions

  1. Put oil in your chili pot and heat over medium high heat
  2. Add onions and both types of peppers stirring occasionally
  3. In a frying pan brown the ground beef adding the chili seasoning and beer when no longer pink and cook an additional 5 minutes
  4. Add beef mixture, kidney beans, tomatoes, jalepenos, and Heintz Chili Sauce to pot and reduce heat to low
  5. Cook until heated through - it can be served immediately or simmered on the stove over low heat until you are ready for it.
