Directions

  1. Soak raisins in warm water; set aside. Sift flour with soda, salt and spices into mixing bowl. Blend in rolled oats, sugar and nuts. Beat Large eggs with fork and add in oil, undrained raisins and vanilla; pour into dry mix. Stir till just blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 13 min. Makes 4 to 5 dozen cookies. This fits well into a "low cholesterol" diet.
