Directions

  1. Fry bacon crisp. Remove and crumble. Drain all except 1 Tbsp. drippings. Add in onion and brown lightly. Stir in cornstarch, salt and dry mustard. Drain beans, reserving 1/2 c. liquid. Stir, reserve liquid into skillet mix. Bring to a boil. Blend in brown sugar and vinegar. Add in green beans and heat thoroughly. Turn out into serving dish and garnish with egg and crumbled bacon. Serves 4.
