  • 1 x English cucumber (seedless, longer than American variety)
  • 6 slc White bread Butter to taste

Directions

  1. Slice cucumber, leaving peel on.
  2. Spread butter on insides of both slices of bread for each sandwich, to taste. Usually a thin layer will suffice.
  3. Place cucumber slices in a single layer on bottom slice of buttered bread for each sandwich, covering entire slice.
  4. Put sandwiches together and remove crusts with knife. Some cucumber peel will come off too and which is the desired result.
  5. Cut sandwiches into triangles.
  6. This recipe yields 12 small tea sandwiches.
