  1. Directions: Mix together the flour, baking pwdr and baking soda. Layeringredients in order given in a qt size wide mouth canning jar. Press eachlayer firmly in place making sure you really pack it down before you add in the flourmixture, it will be a tight fit but it will work.
  2. Instructions:Attach instructions to the jar:Chocolate Covered Raisin Cookies
  3. 1. Empty cookie mix into large mixing bowl.
  4. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
  5. 2. Add in 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine, softened at room temperature. DO NOTUSE DIET MARGARINE Add in 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla
  6. 3. Mix till completly blended. You will need to finish mixing with your hands.
  7. 4. Shape into walnut sized balls. Place 2 inches apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Don't USE WAXED PAPER.
  8. 5. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) 13 to 15 min till tops are very lightly browned. Cold 5 min on bakingsheet.Remove cookies to racks to finishcooling.
  9. Makes 2 1/2 dozen
  10. NOTES: Chocolate Covered Raisin Cookie fold in a jar with tag attached with directions on how to prepare the mix.
