Chicken Wings In Honey Sauce (Crockpot) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken wings -- (16 wings) salt -- to taste pepper -- to taste
  • 2 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 x cloves garlic -- chopped sesame seeds -- optional, garnish

Directions

  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Cut off and throw away wing tips. Cut each wing at joint to make two sections. Sprinkle wing parts with salt and pepper. Place wings on a broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 20 min, 10 min for each side or possibly till chicken is brown. Transfer chicken to Crock-Pot.
  2. For sauce, combine honey, ketchup, soy sauce, oil, and garlic in mixing bowl.
  3. Pour over chicken wings. Cover and cook on Low 4 to 5 hrs or possibly on High 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. If you like garnish with sesame seeds
