  1. Cook bacon till crisp (if using). Drain and chop. Combine bacon, tomatoes, cucumber and onions. Sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper and basil. Mix well and chill. Combine vinegar and oil. Shake well. Pour over salad and toss.
