Bread Dough Ornaments Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 parts flour
- 1 part salt
- 1 part water
- Paste food coloring
- Gold wire
- Acrylic paint
- Polyurethane lacquer
Directions
- Mix first 3 ingredients. Knead 10 min. Color batches as desired with food coloring.
- Form ornaments in desired shapes. Insert gold wire loops to hang ornaments. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 min, then 200 degrees till hard. Cold.
- Apply a coat of lacquer; let dry. Paint details; let dry. Apply another coat of lacquer and let dry.
