  • 4 lg. heads garlic (at least 2 1/2 inches in diameter)
  • 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 4 (4 ounce) wheels brie, toasted baguette slices

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove all but one layer of skin from garlic; don't expose flesh. Arrange garlic tightly in small baking dish. Drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt. Cover with foil. Bake till garlic is very tender, 75 to 90 min.Preheat broiler. Score large X in top of each wheel of cheese. Set each in small baking dish. Broil till browned and bubbly, 5 to 7 min. Serve immediately with garlic and toasted baguette slices.
  2. Makes 8 servings.
