  • 1 x Onion
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/2 c. Light ale
  • 1 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Curry pwdr

Directions

  1. Toheroa are conch type shellfish.
  2. 1. Prepare the ingredients by mincing the toheroa, chopping the onion up finely, beating the egg.
  3. 2. Mix together the toheroas onion and egg and add in the beer.
  4. 3. Stir in the flour, baking and curry pwdr. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 4. Fry quickly in warm deep fat.
  6. Serves 4
