  • 1/4 cup warm water (100 degrees temperature)
  • 1/2 package (1 + 1/8 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (100 degrees temperature)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine (at room temperature)
  • For Sugar Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk (use water for transparent glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
