Prosciutto And Glazed Plums Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 x appetizer servings
  • 4 x ripe plums, pitted and halved or possibly quartered
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, at room temperature
  • 8 x thin slices French bread, toasted
  • 8 x thin slices prosciutto (about 4 ounces)

Directions

  1. Optional garnish: grape clusters and toasted walnut halves
  2. Preheat broiler. Line broiler pan with foil. Place plum halves on pan; sprinkle with sugar; let stand for 10 min. Broil till softened and slightly caramelized, about five min.
  3. Spread 1 Tbsp. Gorgonzola on each piece of toast. On each plate, arrange two plum halves, two slices prosciutto and two Gorgonzola-topped toasts. Garnish with small grape clusters and toasted walnut halves, if you like.
