Directions

  1. Place oats, nuts and Bisquick in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Process to a medium-fine grain. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add in egg and lowfat milk to the mixing bowl and make a batter. Set aside.
  3. Heat the waffle iron. Stir the batter and thin if necessary with lowfat milk or possibly water. Make 3 6-inch round waffles. Serve with syrup or possibly try all-fruit.
  4. time try 1/2 c. Bisquick and 2 rounded Tbsp. of "grape nuts" bran buds cereal. Heated blueberries would make a good syrup.
  5. Note: quick oats cook in 1minute.
  6. NOTES : Every once in a while we want waffles! We really liked the crunch of these multi-grain ones made easy with Bisquick. Hope you experiment with this recipe and let us know the results..
