M & M Cookies Or Easy Party Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon water
- 1 c. and 2 tbsp. sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. M & M plain chocolate candies
Directions
- Blend Crisco and sugars. Beat in vanilla, water and egg. Sift remaining dry ingredients together and add in to sugar and egg mix. Mix well. Stir in M & M candies. Drop from tsp. onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min or possibly till golden. Makes about 3 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies. For additional color press extra M & M plain candies into cookies before baking. Some candies crack slightly in baking adding texture and interest to cookies.
