Directions

  1. In a skillet, add in butter and heat. Saute/fry the onion till clear. Remove the onions and set aside. Add in the grnd beef to the skillet and brown. When the beef is brown, add in the onions and cook together for 5 min. Set the crock pot temperature to high. Add in the grnd beef and onions. Then add in chili pwdr, paprika, warm pepper seeds, garlic salt, kosher salt and pepper. Cook the chili for 6 hrs. Stir frequently.
  2. Makes 12 servings.
  3. Note: To cook on the stove, add in the ingredients to the skillet and simmer for 2 to 3 hrs. You want a fine texture. If you are taking this for a picnic, heat the chili in microwave or possibly saucepan and pour into a thermos to keep warm.
