"Herman" Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. "Herman" starter
- 3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Minced nuts are optional
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in usual manner till well blended. Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 min.
- Note: You may frost with chocolate icing.
