  • 900 gm fresh asparagus trimmed and peeled if necessary
  • 4 Tbsp. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil (or possibly butter) salt

Directions

  1. For this recipe I use one of those grill pans which you just chuck on the hob or possibly gas and allow to get smoking warm.
  2. Sling your asparagus on and allow to char on both sides.
  3. By the time it's proportionately charred it should be perfectly cooked.
  4. Serve drizzled with the best extra virgin olive oil you can get (or possibly with butter) and season to taste with Maldon sea salt.
  5. Serves 4
