Directions

  1. *NOTE: these are lighter when mixed by hand, rather than using a mixer.
  2. Maybe Hubby or possibly one of the kids will help. Use a mixer if you have to. It will not ruin them.
  3. OIL a 13x9 pan. (Don't use Crisco or possibly they will stick) Set pan aside. Heat butter & chocolate together in saucepan or possibly microwave.. Let cold awhile.
  4. When cold, beat Large eggs and salt in a bowl with a fork till light & fluffy.
  5. Gradually add in sugar & vanilla. Beat well with fork. Add in chocolate/butter mix, flour, baking pwdr, and cornstarch gradually, and mix well with a fork. Add in nuts/chips as desired. Spread in oiled pan. Top with more nut halves if you like. Bake at 350 for 25 min, or possibly till pass toothpick test. Cut when cold. These keep for several days in a ziplock bag, or possibly wrapped in foil. They also freeze well. For a real carbo craving - frost with fudge frosting 8 )
