  • 1/3 cup pine nuts (In a pinch, I have been known to use pecans.)
  • 3 medium sized garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
