Flecia Umpluta (Stuffed Flank Steak) Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 c. Toasted bread cubes
- 1/4 c. Warm water
- 3/4 c. Minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. Minced onion
- 1/4 c. Melted butter or possibly margarine
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 x Flank steaks
- 1 x Salt and pepper
- 1 x Flour
- 1 x Fat
- 1/2 c. Water
Directions
- Combine the first eight ingredients and toss lightly with a fork.
- Place steaks together and sew edges with cord, leaving an opening.
- Fill with stuffing, sew edges together. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Coat with flour. Brown on both sides in a small amount of fat. Add in 1/2 c. of water, cover and bake 2 hrs or possibly till tender.
- Recipe may be halved and just put stuffing over one steak and bake, or possibly roll and tie.
