Flavored Vinegar make Great Gifts Recipe

Ingredients

• Go into your yard and pick 1 or 2 cups fresh violet flowers. (from un-sprayed areas)
• Put violets in a clean glass jar (a jar large enough to hold 3 cups of liquid) Fill jar 3/4 full of violets
• Blackberry Vinegar (must be made ahead)
• 2 cups blackberries, washed
• 2 cups white wine vinegar
• 2 cups sugar
• Wash blackberries
• Place blackberries in a large bowl
• Cover with vinegar
• 1 quart dandelion blossoms
• Pack a one quart mason jar with dandelion blossom heads (rinse to remove any bugs)
• All flavored vinegar can be used in the same way that you would use; white wine vinegar,
