Famous Lemon Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 8 x Egg yolks
- 2 1/2 c. cake flour
- 3 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind
- 1 tsp lemon juice Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Directions
- Cream butter with sugar till light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks till light and lemon colored; blend into creamed mix.
- Sift together cake flour, baking pwdr and salt; resift 3 times.
- Add in the sifted ingredients in thirds, alternating with lowfat milk.
- Add in vanilla, grated lemon rind and lemon juice and beat 2 min.
- Bake in a greased Bundt pan for 1 hour or possibly till a straw inserted in the center comes out clean.
