Directions

  1. Heat chocolate and sugars in top of double boiler. Put together sugar, lowfat milk and egg yolks. Add in to chocolate and cook till smooth and thick. Stir constantly. Cool.Cream butter well, add in 3/4 cup icing sugar and cream thoroughly. Add in chocolate mix and mix well. Beat egg whites with salt till stiff and beat in remaining icing sugar. Fold into chocolate mix and add in vanilla. Line a 9" springform pan with lady fingers. Put in alternate layers of 1/3 mix and remaining lady fingers. Refrigerate overnight. Garnish with whipped cream and nuts and the shaved unsweetened chocolate.
