  1. Brown the turkey in the bacon fat till brown and then add in the onions, carrots and celery and cook for a couple of min more. Mix the soup and chicken broth together in the crock pot and add in the turkey mix, the bacon and the wild rice. Cook on LOW setting 6-7 hrs.
