Christmas Apple Butter Recipe

Ingredients
- 14 c. applesauce
- 7 c. sugar
- 1 lrg box cherry Jell-O
- 8 ounce red cinnamon candies
Directions
- Mix dry Jell-O into the applesauce. Put into large roasting pan. Add in other ingredients. Mix till blended. Bake at 350F for one hour. Stir occasionally. Red candies will heat as it cooks. Seal in warm jars. May put in decorative jars for gift giving. Can be eaten as a side dish with a meal or possibly put on bread, muffins, etc. as a spread. Delicious!!
