  1. In 4 c. measure, combine lowfat milk, sugar, butter, slat and chocolate. Cook, uncovered, for 6 min, stirring occasionally and watching carefully last couple of min to avoid boiling over. Stir in marshmallows and cook 30 seconds. Cold slightly and serve in fondue pot or possibly warmer dish at the table with fruits, cake or possibly cookies to dip into the sauce. Make 3 c sauce.
  2. TIP: Squares of unsweetened chocolate can be used for the pre-melted; just stir more often during the first couple min to heat and distribute the chocolate.
  3. Any leftover sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for serving on ice cream. Use the amount of chocolate according to your taste preference: 2 envelopes for light chocolate, 3 for medium and 4 for deep chocolate.
