Chocolate Devils Food Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm coffee
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 sq. 8"-9" pans
Directions
- Cream butter; add in sugar and beat till fluffy. Add in large eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Heat cocoa in hot coffee, then add in to egg mix. Sift flour and salt and fold into other ingredients till thoroughly blended. Mix baking soda and boiling water. Add in and blend into mix. Add in vanilla last. Pour into ungreased waxed paper lined pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 min. Frost with chocolate frosting.(Marissa Parody's Nanny)
