Chilean Corn Pie Pastel De Choclo Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 x onions, diced
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 x bouillon cube
- 2 can cream style yellow corn
- 1 x egg, beaten with 1/2 c. light cream
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 12 x ripe olives
- 2 Tbsp. sugar Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp oregano
Directions
- Fry onions in the oil. Add in meat and continue cooking till browned. Add in bouillon cube dissolved in water. Add in raisins and olives and mix well.
- Remove from heat. Mix corn with lowfat milk and egg mix. Add in sugar and stir well. Place meat mix in a well greased casserole. Cover with corn mix. Bake at 350 degrees till corn mix is hard and nicely browned.
- Add in salt, pepper, and oregano.
