Chicken with Dijon Mustard Sauce Recipe

This is a recipe that my daughter cooked first in her school for Home Economics class and she got a 100% rating from her teachers. Hurrayyy!!

Directions

  1. Place each chicken fillet on the cutting board and gently flatten with a meat pounder.
  2. Rub the chicken with salt. Set aside.
  3. Combine flour, salt, pepper in a bowl,
  4. Dip each fillet into the flour mixture before frying.
  5. Fry each side until golden brown. No need to deep fry.
  6. Put the cooked fillets onto a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  7. Now make the sauce.
  8. Mix chicken broth, mustard, garlic and herbs until well blended.
  9. Simmer over medium heat 3 to 5 min. until sauce thickens.
  10. Plate the chicken on a service platter and top with the mustard sauce, then serve.
