Burger Loaf With Sweet And Sour Glaze Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 6 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
- 1 (20 ounce) can Worthington vegetarian burger Or possibly
- 1 1/2 c. Grandburger, unreconstituted
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon sage or possibly poultry seasoning
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
Directions
- In a large frying pan heat butter; saute onion and bread cubes. In a large bowl, put together sauteed mix with burger, cheese, large eggs and spices. Press into a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Pour the sweet and sour glaze over the top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 min. Serves 8 to 10. This freezes well.
