Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Bake it all mix
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Cocoa
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract TOPPING-
  • 1/4 c. Cocoa
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar -- packed
  • 1 1/2 c. Water -- boiling

Directions

  1. Combine cake ingredients. Stir to blend. Spread batter in 8 by 8 by 2-inch pan, bottom rubbed with shortening. Combine topping ingredients, stirring till cocoa is thoroughly dissolved. Pour over batter. (Do not be afraid! It is NOT a mistake.) Bake in a 350 F. oven about 40 min.
  2. Spoon into dessert dishes. Serve hot with topping or possibly whipped cream, if you like.
  3. Yield: 9 servings
