Applesauce Quick Bread Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup of applesauce, see recipe
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare the 8 x3 inch loaf pan by spraying with cooking spray.
- Cut a 2 inch strip of parchment paper and push into bottom of pan with paper overhanging the pan.
- Spray again with cooking spray.
- Mix together the applesauce, oil, brown sugar, water, eggs and vanilla.
- Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, allspice and salt.
- Mix together the dry and wet ingredients until combined.
- Pour batter half way into prepared pan.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
- Let cool for 1 hour and remove from the pan
