  • 1 c. lowfat milk Day 5
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar Day 10
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

  1. Don't Chill Don't use metal spoon. Mix well and place in gallon glass or possibly plastic container:(use wooden spoon or possibly plastic) sugar, flour, lowfat milk, stir and cover with cheesecloth.
  2. This is Day 1
  3. Day 2 - StirDay 3 - StirDay 4 - Stir
  4. Day 5 - Add in lowfat milk, sugar, flourDay 6 - StirDay 7 - StirDay 8 - StirDay 9 - Stir
  5. Day 10 - Add in lowfat milk, sugar, flour Stir.
  6. This is now a starter, ready to use or possibly give 1 c. to friends. You can make any of the Amish Recipes with what is left in your container. You must feed your starter every week to keep it alive and there should always be 1 c. left to make it work properly.
