About me

I think I was born to cook! I can't remember not cooking, even when I was young. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, and retired home economics teacher. I've never had a job that did not require cooking. I love teaching young people to cook and see a light go off in their face, when they really enjoy what they are doing and enjoy eating it too!

Both of my grandmothers were excellent cooks and my mother was too. They all inspired me and today I still cook almost all our family meals and I'm constantly trying new things. The computer and internet have introduced me to new foods that I love to make! Cooking has to be my favorite hobby as well as a necessity to my family's lives.
