St. Patrick's Day Beef Stew with Guinness by John SpottiswoodThis is a great Beef Stew adapted from a recipe by Margaret Johnson. We doubled the recipe, used about half the butter, and added plenty of salt and black pepper. We also cooked it about 5 hours ahead of time and let it sit in the pot for another 3 hours after it was done cooking. It was awesome. |

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Burger Dogs by Patti FisherSometimes we do a recipe just because it looks like fun, and this one was perfect for our 500th recipe on our new “Date Night Doins BBQ for Two” web site. (Almost 2 years old) This had everything we liked in a bacon cheeseburger, but with a fun twist. Ken put the cheese inside the burger, shaped it like a hot dog and wrapped it in… |

Grub Rubbed and Smoked Corned Beef Brisket by SmokinhotchefThis recipe turned out fabulous even though I used a corned beef brisket instead of the traditional brisket. I created a wonderful spice blend especially for grilled meats and coined it Neillio's Grub Rub. Let the brisket marinate in the rub for 1/2 day to 24 hours. I used both the grill and the oven for this recipe and feel great… |

I’ve made a skinny version by using lean beef, carrots, onions and potatoes but also adding sweet potatoes. These potatoes add a lovely natural sweetness to this savory stew. Southwestern Beer Can Burgers by Patti FisherWe have been seeing folks post their beer can burgers for the last few weeks, all of them looking good. We wanted to take it to the next level by adding a “Southwestern” twist to it. We started with the very best ground beef: Fresh ground sirloin and blending that with some beef chorizo for 1 pound burgers with a nice blend of… |
