%20I%20was%20scared%20though%20cause%20I%20remember%20what%20happened%20when%20I%20made%20the%20first%20one.%20But%20that%20picture,%20oh%20yes%20that%20picture,%20it%20kept%20calling%20my%20name.%20Beth%20said%20in%20the%20book%20it%20was%20easy,%20it%20would%20puff%20up%20like%20a%20pancake,%20it%20would%20be%20custardy%20and%20delicious.....that's%20all%20I%20needed,%20my%20butt%20was%20at%20the%20store%20buying%20frozen%20cherries%20and%20back%20home%20again%20in%20lightning%20speed!%20It%20came%20together%20in%20a%20matter%20of%20minutes,%20I%20turned%20the%20oven%20light%20on%20to%20watch%20it%20puff%20up%20(%20yeah%20I'm%20weird%20like%20that),%20it%20puffed,%20it%20baked%20till%20it%20didn't%20wobble%20in%20the%20middle%20then%20it%20came%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20cooled.%20I'm%20so%20proud%20of%20myself%20for%20letting%20it%20cool,%20but%20I'm%20still%20a%20little%20scared%20and%20don't%20want%20to%20do%20anything%20to%20mess%20it%20up.%20I%20cut%20it%20and%20tasted%20it....it%20was%20everything%20she%20said%20it%20would%20be!!!%20Oh%20so%20custardy,%20I%20loved%20it!!%20I%20made%20Cherry%20Clafouti%20and%20it%20was%20PERFECT!!!!%20Thank%20You%20Beth!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECherry%20Clafouti%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20Made%20That%20Dessert?%20by%20Beth%20Lipton%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFine-mesh%20sieve%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWire%20cooling%20rack%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Preheat%20the%20oven%20to%20325%20F.%20Using%20your%20fingers%20or%20a%20piece%20of%20plastic%20wrap,%20lightly%20coat%20a%209%20inch%20pie%20plate%20with%20a%20thin%20film%20of%20butter.%20Spread%20the%20cherries%20evenly%20in%20the%20pie%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Separate%203%20of%20the%20eggs,%20placing%20the%20egg%20yolks%20in%20a%20large%20bowl%20(%20put%20the%20whites%20in%20a%20small%20bowl,%20cover%20and%20refrigerate%20for%20another%20use-%20scramble%20them%20for%20breakfast%20tomorrow).%20Break%20the%20fourth%20egg%20and%20put%20the%20whole%20thing(%20not%20the%20shells,%20of%20course)%20in%20the%20bowl%20with%20the%20yolks.%20Add%201/2%20cup%20confectioner's%20sugar,%20flour,%20and%20salt%20and%20whisk%20to%20combine.%20Pour%20in%20the%20half-and-%20half%20and%20the%20vanilla,%20and%20whisk%20until%20well%20mixed%20(%20there%20should%20be%20no%20lumps).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Carefully%20pour%20the%20egg%20mixture%20over%20the%20cherries%20in%20the%20pie%20plate.%20The%20cherries%20will%20float%20and%20move%20around%20a%20bit-this%20is%20fine,%20but%20redistribute%20them%20if%20they%20gsther%20too%20much%20on%20one%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Carefully%20set%20the%20pie%20plate%20on%20the%20middle%20rack%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%2045%20to%2050%20minutes,%20until%20the%20clafouti%20is%20lightly%20puffed%20and%20set%20and%20no%20longer%20looks%20wet.%20(Check%20it%20after%2045%20minutes.%20If%20the%20clafouti%20is%20still%20liquid%20in%20the%20center%20when%20you%20gently%20wobble%20the%20pie%20plate,%20give%20it%20another%205%20minutes.%20Remove%20the%20clafouti%20to%20a%20wire%20rack%20to%20cool%20for%20at%20least%2010%20to%2015%20minutes%20(%20or%20let%20it%20sit%20longer%20and%20serve%20it%20at%20room%20temperature,%20if%20you%20like).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Using%20a%20fine-mesh%20sieve,%20sift%201%20or%202%20Tablespoons%20confectioner's%20sugar%20over%20the%20clafouti.%20Slice%20and%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECoffee-Chocolate%20Blondies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20second%20recipe%20was%20the%20Coffee-Chocolate%20Chip%20Blondies.%20Unfortunately%20my%20family%20doesn't%20care%20for%20nuts%20of%20any%20kind.%20They%20just%20don't.%20But%20I%20made%20these%20anyway%20and%20didn't%20put%20the%20nuts%20in%20them,%20I%20just%20put%20more%20chocolate%20chips%20in,%20this%20recipe%20was%20a%20special%20favorite%20of%20our%2012%20yr%20old%20blondie%20and%20brownie%20gobbler,%20she%20loved%20them!!%20Want%20the%20recipe....get%20the%20BOOK!!!!!%20You'll%20love%20it!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheck%20out%20the%20other%20Bloggers%20who%20made%20recipes%20from%20Beth's%20Book%20%22You%20Made%20That%20Dessert?%22%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecipeGirl%20-%20Cookies%20and%20Cream%20Cheesecake%20Bars%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETwo%20Peas%20and%20Their%20Pod-%20Sour%20Cream%20Coffee%20Cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrumpy's%20Honeybunch%20-%20Cappuccino%20Biscotti%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESticky,%20Gooey,%20Creamy,%20Chewy%20-%20Lime%20Glazed%20Citrus%20Tea%20Cakes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECookie%20Baker%20Lynn%20-%20Banana%20Snack%20Cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEat%20me,%20Delicious%20%20Peanut%20Butter%20and%20Jam%20Bars%20and%20Coconut%20Rice%20Pudding%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECulinary%20Concoctions%20By%20Peabody%20-%20Chocolate%20-%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cupcakes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBaking%20Bites%20-%20Book%20Review%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
