White Chocolate Lime Scones Recipe

.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20the%20biggest%20reason%20I%20don't%20like%20January?%20The%20weather.%20After%20two%20months%20of%20snow,%20I'm%20ready%20for%20sunshine.%20But%20alas,%20January%20is%20usually%20the%20worst%20winter%20month%20here%20in%20Utah.%20Lots%20of%20snow.%20Lots%20of%20cloudy%20days.%20I%20hate%20cloudy%20days.%20I%20can%20handle%20just%20about%20anything%20as%20long%20as%20the%20sun%20is%20shining.%20I%20love%20me%20some%20sun!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20January%20is%20almost%20always%20bitter%20cold.%20This%20one%20has%20sure%20started%20out%20that%20way.%20When%20it's%20freezing%20cold%20outside,%20I%20tend%20to%20do%20more%20baking.%20So%20a%20lot%20of%20baking%20got%20done%20around%20here%20over%20Christmas%20break.%20Nothing%20warms%20the%20house,%20and%20the%20tummy,%20quite%20like%20home%20baked%20bread,%20muffins,%20scones,%20and%20other%20goodies!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20came%20up%20with%20this%20scone%20recipe%20because%20I%20found%20some%20limes%20in%20the%20fridge%20that%20I%20needed%20to%20use%20up.%20I%20love%20the%20combination%20of%20the%20tart%20lime%20with%20the%20sweetness%20of%20the%20white%20chocolate.%20They%20are%20actually%20quite%20tart,%20so%20if%20you%20prefer%20less%20lime,%20you%20can%20replace%20the%20lime%20juice%20with%20milk.%20I%20thought%20they%20were%20perfect,%20but%20I%20love%20lime.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhite%20Chocolate%20Lime%20Scones%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20butter%20into%20dry%20ingredients%20till%20coarse%20crumbs%20form.%20Stir%20in%20chocolate%20chips.%20Add%20lime%20juice,%20milk,%20and%20zest%20and%20mix%20just%20till%20moistened.%20Pat%20or%20roll%203/4%22%20thick.%20Cut%20into%20circles%20and%20place%20on%20cookie%20sheets.%20Brush%20with%20milk.%20Bake%20at%20400%20for%2012-15%20minutes.%20If%20desired,%20drizzle%20with%20melted%20white%20chocolate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENotes:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E-If%20you%20prefer,%20you%20can%20sprinkle%20the%20scones%20with%20sugar%20after%20you%20brush%20them%20with%20milk.%20I%20opted%20not%20to%20because%20I%20knew%20I%20would%20be%20drizzling%20them%20with%20white%20chocolate.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
