Directions

  1. Peel turnips and cut into 1/2-inch cubes. Cook in 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, salt, sugar and water, 10-15 min, till almost done, covered.
  2. Chop onions and parsley; add in lemon juice and 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter; cook in separate skillet till onions are transparent. Mix all together and serve at once. Sprinkle with anise seed, optional.
