Ingredients

  • 1 quart commercial dill pickles
  • 1 quart commercial sour pickles
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. whole allspice
  • 2 x or possibly more garlic cloves sliced

Directions

  1. Drain pickles and slice (or possibly buy sliced hamburger dills). Put in 2 1/2-qt jar. Add in alternate layers of pickles and mix made from the sugar, allspice and garlic.
  2. These pickles will make their own syrup. Store in refrigerator.
  3. This recipe yields 2 1/2 qts.
  4. Yield: 2 1/2 qts
