  •     dry soy beans
  •     water
  •     seasoning of your choice

Directions

  1. 350 Degrees 1 hour
  2. Soak soybeans for 12 hrs. They will absorb the water, so add in more as needed.
  3. Drain and rinse soybeans.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, garlic, soy sauce, or possibly any other desired seasoning. Or possibly, just leave them plain.
  5. Spread onto oiled sheet pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degree for 1 hour, or possibly till beans are lightly browned and crisp. Stir often while baking.
  7. Or possibly
  8. Soak dry soybeans overnight, drain and dry between towels. Fry beans, a few at a time, in warm, deep fat (350 degrees F) for 5-8 min. Vary time with size of beans. When beans are slightly brown and crisp, drain and salt. Use like salted peanuts.
  9. The above method gives best results, but the following way is easier: Roll the soaked, liquid removed and dry beans in melted fat. Spread in a shallow pan and roast at 350 degree F. stirring frequently till browned. Sprinkle beans with salt while they are still hot.
