Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 TBSP chili powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes--optional
  • 3/4 teaspoon Mexican Oregano-substitute regular or in an extreme case (ahem) Italian Seasoning
  • 3 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • mix together
  • store in a jar until needed
  • use with one month for best flavor
  • to use add 2 TBSP to one pound of meat
  • add 1/3 cup of water
  • simmer until water is mostly evaporated
