Momma Bec's Broccoli Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 or 2 bunches of Broccoli
  • 1 cup of raisins
  • 1 medium red onion/ diced
  • 1 cup of sunflower seeds (about 6 oz)
  • 12 slices of bacon (little pieces) or 1/2 cup of Bacos)
  • 5 oz of cashew halves
  • Dressing:
  • 1 cup of mayonaise
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients for dressing together in a separate bowl
  2. Wash, drain and trim stems and chop broccoli in small peices. Fry bacon crisp and crumble. Combine above ingredients, and dressing and stir. It's always better to let it sit for a while in the fridge before serving.
