Grasshopper Squares Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 (7.5 oz.) marshmallow fluff
- 1 tsp. creme de cacao
- 1/4 cup creme de menthe
- 1 ( 8 oz.) cool whip
- 1/2 cup York mint patties, chopped
- 3 drops green food coloring
Directions
- Crust: Beat flour, margarine, butter, sugar, salt & chocolate syrup together.
- Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, marshmallow fluff, creme de cacao & creme de menthe together until smooth. Spread over the crust.
- Topping: Mix cool whip & mint patties & green food coloring together and spread over filling layer.
- Decorate.
