%20Art%20Ginsburg%20(aka%20%22Mr%20Food%22).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20liked%20the%20idea%20of%20this%20but%20NOT%20that%20I%20had%20to%20buy%20so%20much%20cream%20and%20whip%20it%20no%20less.%20I%20honestly%20HATE%20making%20real%20whipped%20cream%20these%20days%20because%20this%20ultra-pasteurized%20stuff%20does%20NOT%20hold%20up%20and%20commercial%20stabilizers%20don't%20work%20with%20anything%20ultra%20pasteurized.%20%20I'd%20love%20to%20know%20where%20to%20find%20genuine%20%22heavy%20cream%22%20which%20is%2040%25%20butterfat...FYI,%20%22heavy%20whipping%20cream%22%20is%20not%20the%20same%20thing,%20and%20to%20find%20stuff%20that's%20not%20ultra%20pasteurized.%20%20But%20since%20that%20seems%20to%20be%20impossible%20nowadays,%20I've%20discovered%20the%20wonder%20of%20Cool%20Whip.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDive%20right%20inWhipped%20topping%20makes%20life%20much%20easier.%20%20OK,%20it's%20a%20trade-off%20because%20it's%20not%20real%20dairy%20and%20it's%20not%20what%20I%20call%20%22natural,%22%20but%20the%20pros%20outweigh%20the%20cons%20on%20using%20it%20for%20convenience%20sake.%20But%20I%20do%20insist%20on%20using%20the%20extra-creamy%20variety%20since%20it%20does%20taste%20somewhat%20like%20the%20real%20thing.%20%20The%20regular%20doesn't%20to%20me%20and%20forget%20fat-free;%20I%20won't%20touch%20that.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway,%20this%20dessert%20is%20totally%20easy%20to%20do%20and%20it%20tastes%20delicious.%20%20I%20made%20this%20in%20a%2011%20x7%20pan%20but%20I%20was%20a%20bit%20sorry%20that%20I%20didn't%20use%209%20x%209%20because%20the%20filling%20would%20have%20been%20higher%20and%20looked%20better.%20%20However,%20the%20taste%20is%20the%20same%20whatever%20you%20do%20and%20this%20is%20wonderful!%20%20This%20is%20all%20gone--eaten%20entirely%20by%202%20teenaged%20girls%20and%203%20pre-teen%20boys.%20There%20isn't%20a%20crumb%20left%20and%20that%20tells%20you%20how%20good%20this%20one%20is!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20easy,%20you'll%20make%20them%20often%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEasy%20Frozen%20Peanut%20Butter%20&%20Chocolate%20Cookie%20Squares%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBase:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECrush%20cookies%20by%20processing%20until%20very%20fine%20in%20a%20food%20processor%20or%20Ninja%20(Ninja%20is%20better).%20%20If%20you%20don't%20have%20these%20appliances,%20place%20cookies%20in%20a%20plastic%20zipper-seal%20bag%20and%20use%20a%20rolling%20pin%20to%20crush.%20%20It%20will%20take%20about%2030%20cookies%20to%20make%203%20cups%20of%20crumbs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20crumbs%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20drizzle%20melted%20butter%20over%20them.%20Mix%20until%20all%20cookies%20are%20coated%20with%20butter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20crumbs%20in%20a%2011%20x%207-inch%20rectangular%20pan%20(you%20can%20use%209%20x%209-inch--freezing%20time%20will%20be%20extended%20though.%20%20I%20used%2011%20x%207).%20%20Distribute%20crumbs%20evenly%20in%20the%20pan%20and%20press%20down%20to%20form%20a%20crust.%20%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20bowl,%20with%20electric%20mixer,%20beat%20the%20peanut%20butter%20and%20the%20heavy%20cream%20until%20well%20blended.%20%20Add%20the%20whipped%20topping%20and%20beat%20until%20very%20well%20blended.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETurn%20peanut%20butter%20mixture%20into%20pan%20with%20crumbs.%20%20Even%20out%20the%20mixture%20across%20the%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20in%20freezer%20and%20allow%20to%20freeze%20at%20least%204%20hours,%20preferably%20overnight.%20%20The%20smaller%20pan%20would%20require%205-6%20hours%20freezing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20freezer%20and%20allow%20dessert%20to%20sit%20for%2010%20minutes.%20Cut%20into%20squares.%20%20Top%20with%20additional%20whipped%20topping,%20chopped%20peanut%20&%20caramel%20candy%20bars%20and%20chocolate%20ganache%20if%20desired.%20%20For%20the%20ganache,%20microwave%201/2%20cup%20chocolate%20chips%20and%202%20tbs%20heavy%20cream%20for%2030%20seconds.%20%20Stir%20until%20no%20lumps%20remain.%20%20For%20thinner%20ganache,%20add%20a%20bit%20more%20cream.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%2012%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECopyright%20%C2%A9%20Judith%20Hannemann%20aka%20The%20Midnight%20Baker%202014.%20All%20Rights%20Reserved.%20No%20part%20of%20this%20website%20may%20be%20reproduced%20without%20The%20Midnight%20Baker's%20express%20consent.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFollow%20The's%20board%20%E2%99%A8Hot%20Fun%20in%20the%20Summertime%20Blog%20Hop%E2%99%A8%20on%20Pinterest.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
