Easy (Almost) Texas Sheet Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix, with ingredients to make into cake
- 1/4 c. Cocoa Powder
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2/3 c. Milk
- 1 t. Vanilla
- 1/2-1 c. Nuts

%20sweet%20tooth.%20%20At%20least%20sometimes....%20%20:)%20%20So,%20on%20Friday%20I%20felt%20like%20making%20some%20Texas%20Sheet%20Cake,%20but%20didn't%20have%20the%20time%20to%20make%20it%20from%20scratch.%20%20So%20here's%20my%20short%20cut%20that%20worked%20out%20well....but%20truth%20be%20told,%20didn't%20really%20turn%20out%20as%20a%20Texas%20sheet%20cake.%20%20It's%20delicious,%20but%20the%20cake%20isn't%20as%20spongy/soggy%20as%20a%20true%20Texas%20sheet%20cake.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEasy%20(almost)%20Texas%20Sheet%20Cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20%20While%20the%20cake%20is%20baking%20start%20on%20the%20frosting%20goodness!%20%20:)%20%20In%20a%20small%20pot%20combine%20the%20cocoa,%20milk%20and%20sugar%20on%20medium%20heat%20until%20the%20sugar%20dissolves.%20%20Remove%20from%20heat%20and%20add%20vanilla.%20%20(You'll%20put%20the%20frosting%20on%20the%20cake%20immediately%20after%20it%20comes%20out%20of%20the%20oven,%20so%20be%20ready!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20%20When%20the%20cake%20is%20done%20baking%20pull%20it%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20pour%20the%20frosting%20over%20it.%20%20Try%20to%20get%20it%20everywhere,%20and%20you%20can%20help%20it%20along%20with%20a%20spatula.%20%20Then%20sprinkle%20the%20nuts%20on%20top!%20%20Done!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy!%20%20I%20prefer%20it%20right%20after%20it's%20been%20frosted%20(even%20though%20it's%20really%20hot)%20but%20eat%20whenever%20you'd%20like!%20%20:)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
